Jun 26, 2018Timer failed to operate, and had dimmed to almost unreadable. All functions now work perfectly, display is brighter than it has been in years. I have an older Thermador range that has been discontinued. The timer was also discontinued and no replacements available. It would have cost thousands to replace the range, and probably thousands more to remodel the part of kitchen that was built around this range. You guys saved me. Pretty quick turnaround at a fantastic price.

Efficient, knowledgeable, economical…

Dec 12, 2015THANK GOODNESS FOR APPLIANCE TIMERS. Words that come to mind to describe them: Efficient, knowledgeable, economical and I got the feeling of honesty. I was blown away by how fast they repaired and returned my broken oven control board. For a novice like me, they were a pleasure to deal with, so available on the phone and willing to help. NOT to be compared with the repair department of a nationwide big name GE distributor, who, when making appointment required model # which I did not know. So, they stayed on the phone and directed me how to locate it on the oven. Next day a repairman showed up, took one look at the model # in the same spot they had directed me to look and told me the part was no longer available and that I owed $102 for the service call. I felt like I had just walked into a nightmare since he had the model # before he came so he knew he could not repair the unit. I HAVE NOW SAVED APPLIANCE TIMERS CONTACT INFO AND WILL CONTACT THEM FIRST FOR ANY REPAIRS I MAY NEED IN FUTURE.

Nov 21, 2011I am so impressed with the customer service I received today from Howard Simons that I had to write in. I was unsure whether the timer on my GE Range needed to be sent to you for repair because although my oven does not work, I do not get the typical error message I have read about. I sent an email to your customer service area and within minutes I received a response from Howard. After having the pleasure of a telephone conversation with him, he was able to diagnose my problem as a touchpad failure rather than a timer failure. The people at GE could not even help me and Howard was so kind to give me his time and his knowledge for nothing in return. Thank you Howard! You saved me time and money. I just ordered the touchpad. There should be more kind people like you in this world. I wish you the best!

Mar 29, 2011Last week we received our timer back and got scared because it looked like it was broken so we sent you an email...you called right away and told me how to put it back together!!!

It did all snap right back into place AND the timer works!!!! Hooray!!!!!

I think it's easy to be good when things go our way but when things go wrong we see what a company is really made of, and you guys ROCK!

My experience with appliancetimers was 110% positive…

Feb 07, 2010Yesterday PM I received the repaired timer, and this morning I installed it. Frankly it appears to be better than new. If I remember when the stove was new, the clock would make a slight mechanical noise, and now it and the timer are completely silent (except when the timer bell goes off - fortunately).

For the record, my experience with appliancetimers was 110% positive, with informed correspondence, and a timely (no play on words) repair. And the icing on the cake, was that you were able to find replacement digit wheels. We are so pleased with the result that we have already made a note to sent the timer to you for an anticipated repair in 2030.
