Through internet search I found Appliancetimers.com. I spoke to them and sent them the board. It was shipped back in one week like they promised. Cost $160.00 plus shipping. | Sep 28, 2021 | Now, for the 3rd time, Howard and his Crazy Canadians have come through with a PERFECT repair! The local dealership who sold me this great Thermador range told us that it could no longer be repaired (no parts), and invited us to buy another $3000 range. In less than a minute, I found these guys online, and had a perfect repair for just a few hundred dollars. It wears out after about 5 years, and needs refreshing, but ApplianceTimers is great! eEditor's note: These timers have no moving parts so technically they don't "wear out". Insead, electronics tend to fail due to things like power surges or high temperature conditions. Avoid using your oven's self cleaning feature if you want to extend the life of your timer. This feature should really be called "self destruct". Edward Moss |

| Jul 13, 2021 | The timer "worked", but the display was so burned out and faded that it was nigh-impossible to view. After extensive searches for replacements for this product (and overwhelming disappointment in that area), I wasn't particularly hopeful about finding anyone who might be able to repair it for a reasonable price, versus just getting a new oven. However, ApplianceTimers was very informative, prompt in responding to queries, and promised to not charge service fees if they were unable to repair the product. I opted to take a chance on them, given their reasonable rates, and was incredibly surprised and pleased at the pace in which they fixed up my timer. After receiving it back and re-installing it, it worked better than when I first moved in, and I couldn't be happier. I know that a service like this may seem a little odd/sketchy, but I will personally vouch for the excellent quality of service offered and provided by ApplianceTimers, at least in relation to Oven Timers. The service was acceptable; however the price of repair and the cost to ship was extremely excessive. Not to mention the cost of re-shipping the control at $60.00 for the second time under warranty. For the total expense of repair, I could have applied the funds towards half the cost of a new stove, but unfortunately the appliance manufactures have all changed the location of the control knobs towards the back of the stove, instead of the front. This creates a safety problem I’m not willing to accept. It’s the main reason I opted for your repair service, as the stove is about 27 years old. I would have enjoyed our business relationship better had your business been located in the U.S., for the elimination of the excessive shipping fees. Harold Goodrich |

| Mar 18, 2021 | The electronic display lights on our 20 year old 40 inch Frigidaire stove had become too dim to read. The stove and parts have been discontinued. Even used parts are impossible to find. Appliance Timers repaired and turned around our board in one day and it works perfectly. Much less expensive than changing counter tops and cabinets for a different size stove! Consider paying the extra FedEx or UPS fee as the US Postal Service took a month to reach them in Canada. Editor's note: It is unusual for the postal service to take this long. The problem with sending it via FedEx or other couriers is that we are charged brokerage fees which we must pass along to you. Replacement high end oven quote was $5200, Appliance Timers was confident they could repair, and did, promptly and effectively. Also fixed dim time/temp display, so I sent second timer (we have 2 of these ovens!) that worked but had annoyingly dim display, also fixed to my satisfaction. Saved $10k I'd say!! The timer was repaired within a day and returned to me by courier immediately there after. I felt that both the repair cost and the return shipping cost were very reasonable. I now have a fully functioning stove once more and as such, saved myself a significant sum over the cost of a new one. Additionally, there is one less perfectly good appliance in the land fill. I also found the Appliance Timer.ca website very user friendly. It was very easy to follow the prompts and instructions for completing the work order and preparing for shipping. Directions for payment upon completion and prior to return shipping were also easy to follow. I am really glad I took a chance and repaired this oven myself.
