| Apr 17, 2021 | Best $ I've recently spent. new house, old Decor oven, timer jumping all over the place for time and temp. Oven basically unusable though otherwise in great condition. I found Appliance Timers, shipped it to them with a simple process, received it back in less than 2 weeks and it's working great. And only then did they request payment which I happily did. | Mar 17, 2021 | 1990 Dacor w305b oven, would broil but not bake. Spent some time with my multimeter to determine that timer had no output to bake element. Replacement high end oven quote was $5200, Appliance Timers was confident they could repair, and did, promptly and effectively. Also fixed dim time/temp display, so I sent second timer (we have 2 of these ovens!) that worked but had annoyingly dim display, also fixed to my satisfaction. Saved $10k I'd say!! I did contact one other company that claimed to repair these units, when I asked this woman what parts they would replace I was told "it's proprietary information" When I heard that they were omitted. But let me say in this personal email to you that the repair was great, my stove works perfectly now, and I appreciated how efficient you were with your shipping and turnaround time. Great service all around, thank you! This was especially important because this part is no longer manufactured and the only way I could get this otherwise-fine stove to work is to refurbish the part. | Jan 11, 2013 | IT'S ALIVE (and perfect!) The warm orange glow of the heating elements were toasty testament to the fact that the replacement oven timer control unit was perfect! I had spent countless hours trying to locate a replacement timer, only to find out that no one, and I mean NO ONE, made, or had in stock, a new or refurb unit. After months of anguish and procrastination, I finally called ApplianceTimers.com. Imagine my surprise when, at some ungodly hour early in the morning, Howard Simons, the owner of the company, picks up the phone. He asked about the fault code being displayed and then patiently explained my options. He even discussed a few of his competitors. Okay, I'm sold! Off went my timer to ApplianceTimers.com. Five days after they received the timer, including New Year's Day and a weekend, I get the invoice. When I saw the amount and the comments "we are not able to repair your timer" I was crushed! Called up ApplicanceTimers.com first thing in the morning. Again, Mr. Simons answers the phone, instantly knew my order and explained that my unit was beyond repair. He also explained that he did not want to send out a refurb unit because the only one he had in stock had a short ribbon cable and was concerned it might not reach the touchpad. I knew the touchpad ribbon cable was quite long so I told him to send the replacement timer. Needless to say, twenty minutes after I opened the package, the timer was reinstalled and the oven was back in business. I can't thank Howard and ApplicaneTimers.com enough! | Nov 09, 2011 | My 18 year old Magic Chef range decided not reach or remain at any set temperature. After mailing the electronic control board to you and after a quick turnaround, I reinstalled the board and the oven heats dead-on to the temp it is set at. My wife is quite pleased to have her oven working again, especially right before Thanksgiving in the U.S. And I am pleased I didn't have to shell out 800 bucks for a new oven. The approximately 130 bucks (which included all shipping fees) spent to repair this was well worth it. Thanks for your reasonable and quality service! Kris Kisatsky |
