| Santa Cruz, California | WW27430B | FF ?? | Initially, the oven took a long time to warm up beyond the preheat level, then took hours to start. First the control board got dimmer and dimmer and finally was no longer visible. I replaced the control board, in hopes that it would correct both the light and heating problem. The display was to the left so the time couldn’t be read, but the oven was still taking a long time to begin to warm up.
There was a high pitched sound as the oven tried to warm up. The sound would disappear momentarily if we either cancelled and selected the cooking type ( bake, broil or convect bake or convect broil) and temp, or if I just selcted the temperature again and them high pitched sound would start again. The sound seemed to go through cycles of off and on and the oven would eventually start to heat up and reach the selected temperature and stay on. I tried to get a relay board but it was no longer being made. So now I am sending the relay board (part # 74006612) to you for repair. I am also enclosing the control board as requested by Howard Simons as our April 5 email correspondence.
I am not sure of the failure code, it might have been FF of FC . I t didn't always display a failure code.
I notice that the word intermittent is checked to descibe this problem but it ALWAYS takes hours to come on.
