However, if we opened and closed the lid the drain pump would engage. New drain pump had been installed about two months prior. Also, in trouble shooting this I installed and new lid switch - which was not the problem. That leaves the timer. I attempted to clean the contacts, (a couple had dark buildup) but when i put it back together it made things worse. Over my head now - thank you for your help!	Beyond Repair
