|Duncan, British Columbia||General Electric||GRSR3920ZWW||CAMCO : 187D1914P001||none||The clock, timer and oven control works but the clock display does not stay stay on but dissappeares after few seconds. This has been like this for some years. |
Recently, the oven turned itself off after operating for about twenty minutes and again soon after being reset. Now after setting the bake temperature the oven turns on then after a few minutes the controller turns it off. Waiting a few minutes it can be reset but again its turns the oven off after a few minutes.
Trusting this can be repaired.

The timer on my oven has been working intermittently over the past 2 weeks. The clock display will work for 8 to 12 hours and then not light up for a day or two (and then work again). The time between working/not working seems to be getting longer and longer with each failure. When the display is not light up the oven does not work. The stove top burner are working and have no issues. I have removed the back panel and checked the voltages to the card (120 VAC is available consistently on both voltage terminals when the display is working and when it is not). There is no fault error code listed on the display before it shuts down. I have disconnected and reconnected the power a few times and checked all the terminals on the card. I am hoping that a refurbished card will fix this issue.
The card is a CAMCO 187D1914P001.
