The Diehl rotary switch has 3 terminals marked W1, W2 and W3 on the back side of the PCB. The electronic control board was made by Borg Industries and the oven was purchased in 1994.
I suspect the rotary switch is worn/faulty, as the display does not update properly when turning the rotary switch. For example, when trying to set the oven temperature, turning the rotary switch causes the temperature display to jump all over the place (forwards and backwards and not in any relation to the speed of turning the rotary switch in a given direction). I have taken the control board apart and tried cleaning the rotary switch with electrical cleaner.
