Tried various modes, no result.
buttons did not make beep sound
pressed clean cycle, no heat, but F9 error code appeared and the word clean stays on.
unplugged the range for several minutes several times.. no change
I have carefully checked the door switch, and lock switch. With the wires removed, the lock switch operates normally. The motor for the lock mechanism also works fine.
I can purchase a new lock mechanism, if you recomend, just for assurance and prevention of future failure.
