Has A F1-8 Error... I Replaced The Electronic Control Board Still Has Error.. I Am Able To Cook Up Top But Cant Get The Oven To Function Please Help.
I have a Jenn-air duel fuel downdraft slide in oven. Model is JDS9860AAB. The convection fan is not working or only once in a while. If I manually rotate fan sometimes it will start going. I need to locate the Part(s) to fix this. Most importantly is I need to know how to fix it. Can this be fixed without having to slide oven out? In th eoven cavity the fan is at the back and a cover has 6 screws located at 12,2,4,6,8, and 10 o'clock poistions. Is it a simple matter of removing screws, lifting out part, undoing electrical connector and then reversing steps to install new part(s). I hope so! I really don't want to have to slide oven out. By the way, all other functions of the oven and oven are working perfectly.
The Enter button and the 2 clock buttons will not work. Other buttons on control panel work fine. Ideas of problem? or, Solution?
Our jenn air model js9860aab control panel buttons on the panel do not respond--is there a rebuild kit available to repair this -- because without these buttons, the convection oven of this duel fuel oven does not work--any ideas -- gmekesa
Jenn Aire JDS9860AAB F1 error code. Sometimes oven heats then throws error code. Other times appears to work correctly via touch pad but oven doesn't heat. From what I've read it appears to be Touchpad or circuit board. Can you help me close in on this? Thanks Bob
My Jenn Air Dual fuel slide in oven (2003) Mdl JDS9860AAB Resets itself as if it had lost AC power. This happens about once a week. or if I am cooking an important meal (like Thankgiving) It resets itself once or twice during cooking in the oven. Any Ideas?Thx,Joel
I have a Jenn-Air 30 in JDS9860AAB Dual-fuel self-clean slide-in w downdraft ventilation and convection. The bake element burned out on me. I bought a replacement element. I removed teh screws and pulled out the old element BUT now can't seem to put in the new element.I push the prongers into the holes but nothing grabs them ... they are free sliding. Shouldn't they fit into some kind of slot for contact?
Model JDS9860AAB range/oven combo has F1-7 code and can't cancel or reset.
Jenn Air electric slide in drowndraft oven less than 3 years old...touchpad will not work at all. The clock is working. We have flipped breaker and tried to restart. Display buttons still will not work. Any advice?
I have a JDS9860AAB. The keypad shows F1-8. What do it mean? ;o)
I have a JennAir dual fuel downdraft oven, model JDS9860AAB. There is a drain in the left hand cartridge well to drain fats melted while using the grill unit. The diameter of the drain hole is 1/8 inch at most; the melted fats are collected in a cup at the bottom of the range. You guessed it, the drain tube has clogged. I have been able to use a 7 inch nylon cable tie to ream it out, and have tried boiling water with dishwasher detergent, but it still doesn't drain. Could it be blown out with compressed air?
i have a jenn air oven model jds9860aab , the control for the oven is flashing F1-8 , i have tried replacing the ERC and the same F1-8 is still happening , i read on a appliance repair blog that the problem may be the oven sensor part number 74004943 or 12001656 , i have the resistence on it and the resistence is very high with the sensor at room temprature. i dont want to purchase and install a new sensor only to find the problem is not solved however i am willing to take the chance
