I have a whirlpool gold electric oven model number GJSP84902 purchased new in 2002. In the last week I have noticed a plastic burning smell, I remove the main control panel and noticed that one of the plugs on the back of the curcuit board was blackened. How easy is this to replace and how much is this unit?
I have a Whirlpool Gold Accubake System (9752834/5A) - Oven and range, 2001 model - a self cleaning oven (the self cleaner I haven't used). Recently the Bake oven temperature doesn't seem to work effectively. When baking, the inside of the food is still cold. When measuring it with a temperature gauge, the temperature goes on and off and takes a long time to get to the oven to the required temperature. What can I do and where can I purchase the part to install if broken? Thanks
Hello I have a Whirlpool Gold range (Accubake System). Last year after the power in my house when out, the panel does not show anything. when i put the oven on its always on celcius iand i have been trying to put it in farenheit, but have not had any luck. the clock also never show on the panel. i would appreciate any info to help me.
The oven light doesn't work. How do we test the circuit? And it is not the bulb. We changed it: No results. When we press on oven light knob, we hear 2 beeps, but no light. Everything else works. Hope it is not the computer because everything else works.
wirlpool oven model #gjsp84902 sn #1mmo212481 clock is stuck on clock function and will not change back to regular clock function, tried unpluging range but did not help.
My Whirlpool Gold oven does not lock when using the oven cleaning function. The locking mechamism just bangs as if it is trying to lock. Mike
Model #GJSP84902 I turned on the self-cleaning cycle and then immediately pressed off. It said END & locked. Then the message E1-F5-locked is displayed on the screen. I tried pressing all the buttons and nothing happens. This happened yesterday morning and it still says the same message this morning.
Whirlpool Gold Oven (GJSP84902) not heating from bake element. Oven not heating from bake element. I replaced the bake element (the previous bake element had a small gap in the element) but this did not solve the problem. What is the next step?
Hi, Done a lot of reading on this board, problem is still not resolved. Whirlpool Model #GJP84902, oven bake element stopped working. Removed original element, found pitted, measured no resistance. Replaced with new element, resistance measured (can't quite remember value, but it was either 28 Ohms or 40 Ohms I think). With oven on, past pre-heat (broiler element is OK), measured voltage between each terminal and ground = 100 V-AC. Voltage between the 2 terminals however, measured 0 V. Can't find a breaker/fuse on wiring diagram for bake element, only found for 2 electrical outlets. Not sure what to do next, is it the relay? If it is the relay, can someone post a picture of it?
