The timer gave out (would not progress further) on each setting when it came to draining the water. There do not seem to be any blockages to the tubes or the pump and we were able to drain the water through the back manually without any issue. I therefore hypothesize that the error might be in the timer. I purchased this clothes washer in Columbus, Ohio in the fall of 2002 for about $300 and it has not had any other issues before this.
