New York, New YorkI am a happy & returning customer : )
ApplianceTimers.com provided a replacement timer for this Amana oven in 2014 ... and it now needs to be replaced anew.
The part numbers above were taken from my 2014 order.
Currently, the "up" arrow button doesn't work well... read: it either does not work at all or the button sticks / numerals rise uncontrollably. The plastic face at the "up" button is also cracked.

Essex Jct, Vermont1. Oven temp stays at 100 degrees for an extended period before finally heating up to temp.
2.Cannnot regulate temperature once it does reach desired temp (cannot reduce)
3. Once at temp you must turn totally off and restart in order to reduce temp
4. Once oven is on for an extended period of time it will shut off spontaneously.
5. Oven temp will not be at the temperature displayed.
Timer inspected, no repairs necessary
St. Paul, Minnesotaoven will turn on, work for a while, then, intermittently, turn off and give the code: F3. A repair person came out and replaced the sensor, but that did not fix the problem.Awaiting receipt of timer
New York, New YorkAfter about 12 months of an intermittent problem (the unit would fail when overheated) it has now failed altogether. The unit continually cycles thru locking & unlocking the oven door (as if in cleaning mode) and all other functions do not work. The unit flashed "F-5" when this first occurred.Repaired
skokie, Illinoiscontrol stops responding to buttons when oven gets hot. display will flash on and off or go completely bank until the oven cools down.Repaired
Richmond Hill, OntarioBoth the oven and broiler have stopped working. The digital timer's display characters all look ok, I hear a relay click when the oven or brolier is set to on, there are no fault codes, but neither the oven or broiler igniter ever starts to glow. The oven igniter itself is a relatively new part, which is why I don't suspect either igniter to be at fault.Repaired
San Luis Obispo, CaliforniaHi Howard,

As I mentioned on the phone, the unit goes black after it gets hot, and shuts off the oven.

South Glastonbury, ConnecticutThere are a number of problems:
1) Broiler doesn't work
2) The display would go blank (no display) as the oven heated up and would come back on as the oven cooled. This is an intermittent problem that seems to be getting worse as time goes by
3) The oven eventually wouldn't heat as quickly as it used to.
Repaired
Vancouver, British ColumbiaThe timer will switch itself off after 20-40 minutes of reaching the baking temperature, switching off the oven. It appears that heat had damaged the circuits in the timer.Repaired
Pittsford, New YorkAs others have reported to you:
"Oven shuts off after variable amount of time, at variable temperatures. Electronic time and temperature display disappears - screen is blank. Repeatedly pressing buttons will eventually bring the display back and restart the oven, sometimes this takes up to half an hour or so. It doesn't seem to matter which buttons are pushed.

When this began months ago it was an intermittent problem and seemed to happen at higher temperatures or when the oven was on for a longer period of time. Now it seems to happen every time the oven is used, within 20 minutes or so of starting it, and at any temperature.

The gas range works fine - it's only the oven."
