If I start broil and switch to back then the unit works till I shut it off. When I shut it off I then get the F1 error code.

Set it to bake and in about 4 seconds it beeps(instead of 'clicking on') and the 'on' light comes on. When checking current at the bake element I get 120v on the orange wire and 0 on the yellow wire. Symptoms: beeping, non-stop. Code F1 showing in display. Tried simple reset, then cut power to unit and finally took it apart and unplugged the ribbon cable to reset, with no luck.

I have to set the temp. 100 degrees higher on the controller than what is needed and then it takes about an hour for the oven to reach the temperature. Clearly a PID problem, but GE doesn't supply these controllers any longer. Trying to get the oven ready for the holidays. THANKS!||Replaced with reconditioned timer|
