I purchased the control board from app parts pro and the board that I received is different than the one that is on the range. On the control board the four wires that connect up are in a straight line, red-li, white-NEU, blue-bake, yellow-bake. Now the control board that I received, the hookups are not in a straight line, they are all over the board and they read, line, bake, broil and R1Y101 next to it or AC N on the bottom of the connection. They tell me at app parts pro that it is the board that their records say to use. Is This board compatible? I do not want to hook it up till I know it is.
We inherited this range from the previous owners. I have not figured out how to use the timed-baked function. We use the baked function and every few months the oven stops working until I stand in front of it playing with the three dials( clock, stop time, delayed start time) untill it comes back on. I've tried everything. I give up.
I have a GE gas oven model #jgbp34gep" serial # XXXXX I am an ex services guy. I checked the service book because I was getting an F2 or F4 fault code. I checked the resistor at the ERC and it 1117 ohms. All else checked out as per the services book. What is your next suggestion?
