Amana gas oven Model #ARGS7650WW. How does the top of the oven come off to access the wiring act.? It doesn't have a flip top. Do the sides of the cabinet have to come off to access screws to the top?
I am looking for an Amana oven manual for gas oven model ARGS7650WW. The oven does not heat. The indicators show on but the temp does not get above 100 degrees. Tom McLaughlin
Amana Natural Gas oven model ARGS7650WW. Problem is that it begins to heat up then stops heating. Strong smell of gas is present. I took of the regulator and tried to clean it out with a can of compressed air. It seemed to work for a couple of days and now problem is back. I don't know if it is the regulator but I suspect that is the problem. I checked the shut off valve also and it seems fine. I looked for the regulator on line and it is a discontinued part so will be difficult to find. Do you have any recommendations?
I have a gas range/oven ARGS7650WW. The oven suddenly will not heat up and I have been told the element is gone. How do I order a replacement?
How do I remove the front control panel to replace the touch pad? Not obvious to me.
how do you remove the panel on an Amana gas oven (args7650) so I can replace the clock?
How do I get at the spark module to replace it in an Amana gas oven, model # XXXXX? From the back? From below?
I have a Amana gas oven model #ARGS7650E that had a short from the oven light. The circuit breaker did not trip but I have no electrical functions.
I have an amana slide-in oven model #ARGS7650*. Recently, the oven has not been functioning properly. We noticed this when it was not heating to the proper temp and could smell gas coming from the oven. When I checked the burner on the bottom of the oven, I could see the the one on the right side was not always lighting up. I used the self-cleaner on the oven, thinking that perhaps some debris was blocking the burner and while it worked once or twice, it still only comes on sporadically. We can't seem to access those bottom burners because the whole thing is screwed down into the body of the oven so I really can't get a good look at the burners to see whether there is still something blocking them. The oven came with our home when we bought it almost 7 year ago.
I have an Amana oven ARGS7650. The clock is dead, no error codes or any indication of life. I'm told the Electronic oven Control needs replacing, part 31944801, but it is not available. I need advice on how to remove it for shipment to a rebuilder, such as CGI. I don't expect my expert to know every model, so I am able and willing to provide photos for the steps along the way. I need to know the proper steps.
We have a 11 year old AMANA ARGS7650 gas slide in oven. It now shuts the oven off frequently and occasionally shows an F3 error message. Fixable? Estimated Cost? Is it worth it as a new AMANA with same features is about $600.
Our Amana #args7650 slide in oven's door won't shut tight so the light stays on. Do we need to replace the hinges? Is it something I could do or should we hire someone? Thank you.
The control panel of my amana slide in gas oven (model ARGS7650) has slipped out of place, I would like to open the hood of the range and see whether I can replace the bracket holding the panel, the panel works. How do I open the hood?
I have an Amana Gas oven (ARGS7650E). The digital control display panel became detached on one side from the front metal casing and is now pushed back into the space behind it. How do I access the space behind the digital display?
I have an Amana gas oven: Model ARGS7605E. It has an electronic, digital clock/controller for the oven temp, selection (oven, broil), and the controller is not working. It clearly needs a new digital controller, but the parts ordering sites say it is no longer made. Except for this problem it is a fine oven. Is it possible for some other part to work or am i out of luck and have to purchase an entire new oven? If so, you can be it won't be an Amana. Mike
Re: Amana slide in Gas oven ARGS7650. The plastic key pad panel has torn and the actual key pad behind it is loose. What can be done?
I have an amana args7650ss oven. Attempted to start cleaning cycle. Heard clicking sound while lock light flashed. Started to blink "door" then ended with an error code. Now door is locked. On-line suggestion was to start cleaning cycle, interrupt it and it would unlock itself. Problem is, the problem keeps the cleaning cycle from starting at all. So I'm stuck. How can I get the door open?
I have an Amana args7650ss oven. We are using propane. A few months back we had the propane tank/regulator reworked. Since that time, the flame on the oven burners is ooven and one of the burners will not light automatically. Is there a way to adjust the air/propane mixture to improve the flame?

I have a Amana gas range model #ARGS7650SS. The oven, broiler and range top all work fine. When on the cleaning cycle only the broiler lights, no oven, therefore no cleaning. I put in a new oven ignitor. Len
I have an Amana oven Model ARGS7650SS that both the broiler and oven won't light. They both stopped working at the same time. The top burners work fine and the digital controller thing seems to be working. I recently replaced that digital controller thing. Does one single igniter light both the broiler and oven? I would like to fix this thing myself, so what do you think the problem is. Frank

bad electronic contral panel on Amana gas oven I have a 1998 Amana ARGS7650E with an electronic control panel that just quit working (so the oven is useless!). I am told by a repairman that this control panel is no longer available through the manufacturer. Any advice?
Amana ARGS7650 Keypad has no power The keypad on the Amana ARGS7650 has been working for about 10 years, until now. There is power to the pilot electronic ignition and the oven light, but the keypad controlling the clock, oven temp, clock, etc seems to have no power. Is there a fix for this?
Trouble with an Amana oven posted by Ricky101 on Jun 06, 2008 Report abuse I have an Amana Model ARGS7650E. The top burners and the broiler all work fine. The oven igniter comes on and heats up, but the gas doesn't come on. Even when holding a cigarette lighter to the burner, it doesn't light. Comment by Ricky101, posted on Jul 26, 2008 I replaced the gas valve. While the burner comes on now, it doesn't light fast and we smell gas. Also, it is very slow to heat up. Watching the burner with the cover removed and the door closed, the flame will go from full to very small and back again. Not very fast and mostly the flame will just barely be visible most of the time.
Trouble with an Amana oven I have an Amana Model ARGS7650E. The top burners and the broiler all work fine. The oven igniter comes on and heats up, but the gas doesn't come on. Even when holding a cigarette lighter to the burner, it doesn't light.
oven "bake" will not ignite. gas is adequate - broiler works fine.
Amana oven (model# ARGS7650ww) needs new igniter I have an Amana oven (model# ARGS7650ww) in which the oven has stopped working. I believe it might be the igniter because the oven says it's on, but won't heat up. How difficult is it to replace the igniter? I am thinking of doing it myself. Thanks in advance. Pat
Replacing the ERC in an ARGS7650WW Hello. I want to replace the ERC in my oven. Can you verify that I can remove the cooktop by removing the center screws in the burners. Will that give me good access to the ERC area? Thanks! EMG
my burner igniters will not stop sparking, regardless of position, unless the unit is unplugged. Is there anything I can do to reset the unit? Amana ARGS7650WW
Oven gas does not come on? I have an Amana Gas range model# ARGS7650WW. When push the oven on button to bake and I set a temp. the oven does not turn on. I can not hear the gas coming into the oven as I would in the pass.
I have an Amana ARGS7650ww. The igniters will not spark.
I have an amana gas range model ARG7800WW . The cook top works but the display (clock clock) doesn't light up and the oven doesn't work.
Gas broiler will not ignite. I replaced the bake igniter last year no problem. Is there an way to see if it is the igniter or more involved? The igniter does NOT glow red.
It is: An Amana instabroil model ARG7800E. Dated at 1998 or so. It's black if that helps. The problem: The oven/bake controls went out and can't be used. The clock readout now randomly blinks on and off. Sometimes its out for hours then the clock readout starts blinking on and off. It will sometimes stay on for 2 seconds sometimes more sometimes less. The oven control buttons/control panel & clock are rendered useless. We can't use our oven at all. Occasionally the word "lock" in really small yellow letters blinks on and off with the time. The top burners work fine. Please help!
Whirpool model# RF385PXGN (electric) error code F2 E0 The failure/error display codes says replace control. What is control ?
Hi this gas oven seems to have an electrical problem. It started when the display would turn itself off after baking something. This minor problem (have to reset the clock) has become more difficult as it sometimes now shuts the oven off (and display goes black) when the oven hits the baking temperature. This usually doesn't happen at the end of preheat, but in the middle of baking. We can get the oven back on by banging on the cooktop right above the display and resetting the temperature. In all cases the display shuts itself off after baking and now sometimes after using just the surface burners. The display always comes back on after a while. There's never been a problem with the surface burner ignition system, but we've had to replace the oven igniter twice. Any suggestions?
amana ARGS7650SS Gas oven takes a long time to heat up, and then, in the middle of baking, the digital control panel goes blank and the oven goes off. Eventually, the panel will begin flashing and, with luck, we can light the oven and get on with the baking. What is wrong and what kind of a fix is it?
setting time and adusting display we dont know how to set the time or adjust clock on the led display
Amana ARGS7650SS problem Everything works well for about an hour. If the oven is in use for an extended period of time (1-2 hours) it turns off and the clock begins blinking. No fault codes are shown. Once the oven has cooled down and the clock reset button is pushed, it operates fine again, unless the baking period is an hour or more. How can I identify if it is a faulty temperature sensor? Replacement is easy. How can I identify if it is a faulty Electronic Control Panel? And where would I find installation assistance? I can't figure out how to remove the Panel? Thanks!
I changed the oven and broiler ignitors only to find out no power going to them . the controll panel works when i hit clean clock bake broil it turns on the on signal.the latch works during the clean cycle but no ignition. is there a relay in the controll panel . I am told the controll pad is no longer available Jimmy
